February Fun

Tate's science project on the solar system. We knew about it for weeks, but of course, we waited until the last few days before it was due to work on it. Tate had a blast spay painting the project board & planets. Some planets, he had to use chalk to get the right blend of colors. He did an awesome job! He also had to type a 2-3 page report. He got tired of typing, so I typed what he wanted to say. He was very surprised when we ended up with 3 pages!

Jay's 11th Birthday

While we were all getting dinner ready, Cecelia was watching T.V. I kept checking on her. She was being so good in the living room, all by herself. Well, Tate went through & noticed her coloring job that covered HALF of the T.V.! Mark about died! She was pretty much cool cleaning it off. Thank goodness it came off as easily as it did. She kept trying to get out of it, she'd throw down the washcloth & say, "You clean, mom" lol Gotta keep an eye on that girl!

Pecan Time!

We have a pecan tree in our front yard & we all went out to pick up those that have fallen! There were tons!!! It was a fun day! We had a few pecan wars. Those lil things can hurt! lol I'm so glad Mark didnt fall when he climbed up & shook the limbs to make more fall. It was raining pecans! The kids loved playing in the leaf pile, too!

Jay wanted to be a skater punk! I'm NEVER putting his hair in spikes again!

Mark helped me put this costume together since the mohawk took way longer than I thought it would.

We finally did it! We have warned him forever that we were going to knock his head off! lol

He got to carry it around all night in a jar! He won the best cosstume!

Tate was a glow in the dark stick man! He's such a skinny-butt, it was the perfect costume for him. Love those lil bum cheeks!

Jay's State Soccer Tournaments

Still loving soccer!!! We are so proud of Jay & his excelling in soccer. His hair's cut now...I miss it. Such a cutie!

Austin's 8th bday & baptism

Austin's 8th birthday! He was such a nut opening his gifts. He was very entertaining! Loved all the attention being on him!One last choke before he was baptized! lol I do have a nice pic of the two of them, this one was just funny.

It was GREAT having Grandma & Grandpa here with us! It meant a lot to Austin. He's such a show-off & most of our pics looked like this (his silly faces!)

Mark's 31st Birthday

The missinaries we had at the time were a riot! Elder Ballard made Mark his cake. Mark had just found a new love of bow-fishing! Elder Ballard made him a bow-fishin' fish cake! Mark loved it!

Has it been 3 months???

Has it really been 3 months since I've updated on here??? Holy Cow!!!

We have been keeping pretty busy. The boys staying busy with school. We had a great Christmas! My family was all here & that was a lot of fun, too! Stressful, but great to have them all around. Cecelia LOVED opening her presents! She really got into it! Mark liked my platter I got from my sis! lol

We are buying a house. Very excited about that! Hopefully it'll happen soon! I've packed a bunch of stuff already! I could have a huge yard sale! Since we've been in our house for 25 years, there's tons of JUNK that's been aquired!

Recently, Cecelia's been really sick. She had the stomach virus all week!!! Poor, lil thing doesn't have any fat on her body & this virus made her loose more weight! She's FINALLY starting to feel better. Mark was sick all day Friday. My dad, yesterday. I hope that it the end of it all!

Mark's still EQ pres & I'm still Primary pres, so that's keeping us busy. It's a lot of fun!

Cecelia turned 2 a few weeks ago! It's crazy she's already 2!!! I would put up a pic of on her bday, but my camera broke Christmas day! I'm still quite upset about that! I took pics with a 35 mm camera, but I keep forgetting to drop off the film to be developed.

Ah! I just remembered, Jay has a huge paper, (ok, huge for a 5th grader) due Tuesday & he hasn't worked on it yet! Great~I know what we're about to be doing! lol

Jay decided to let me cut his hair. It's still long in the front, but shorter around the ears & back. He said he had to start getting used to short hair b/c next year he'll be 12 & getting the preisthood & will have to cut his hair then. I miss his long hair. He says he likes it like this. :-(

I'm going to try & update this more often. I love Facebook & wish yall all would keep in touch that way. It's great to see albums uploaded!
